Gender violence and clinical sexology. Education at an early age is essential to enjoy sexuality in a healthy and positive way during adolescence and adulthood.

Clinical sexology is the one that deals with the treatment of sexual problems of both organic and psychological origin. It is divided into two areas: medical and psychological.

Education aims to carry out basically preventive activities, so that individuals gain knowledge and modify negative attitudes towards certain issues related to sexuality and promote good sexual health and the non-occurrence of unwanted pregnancies.

The main way to end gender violence is prevention. This includes, of course, a global change in the way we view relationships between women and men. A questioning of social roles and stereotypes, of language, etc. These changes must start from adults with the objective of being transmitted effectively to boys and girls.

Given the serious situation of gender violence that is being experienced and its increase in groups such as adolescents, social work plays a key role in its early detection and prevention. We must work on the preventive socialisation of gender violence; as well as the need for training future professional people.

The objective of the international scientific community is early detection and prevention of gender violence. To be able to carry out this community social work in the future from the perspective of preventive socialisation of gender violence.

CLINICAL SEXOLOGY AND POSITIVE SEXUAL LIFE

We need a new philosophy of values based on well-founded knowledge. Unlink evil with everything related to sexuality, coming from the world of taboo and ignorance. As we all know, until recent times it has been the means used to restrict the freedom and autonomy of people’s development.

The new axiology must gradually break the shackles, the blindness and the dullness. We must give way to a new axiology that considers sexuality as essential to the holistic well-being of the human being.

Clinical sexology has a great importance in the educational process. It is responsible for regulating the values and behaviours of people, therefore, it directly influences sexual education.

Adequate sexuality education at an early age is essential to be able to enjoy sexuality freely and healthily during adolescence and adulthood.

The contribution of clinical sexology is essential in the eradication of gender violence, respect and the only way to positive sexual life between human beings.
